Aleph doesn't just answer questions — the language model can call tools to act on your behalf: control devices, look things up, run things on your machines.

Where tools run

Tools come from two places:

• Satellite-side tools — exposed by the device you're talking through (e.g. tools that act on your desktop), tunneled over the Alabama connection.
• Server-side tools — built into the server or provided by connected MCP servers.
